ABOUT OUR DIAPER BANK

The Diaper Bank at Making Kids Count exists to fill an unmet critical need for diapers among the most vulnerable in our community. None of the “safety net” programs pay for or provide diapers, not WIC, Food Stamps or Medicare, leaving those with the fewest resources even fewer options. Making Kids Count distributes over 10,000 diapers a month to our partner agencies!

Below is a list of our partner agencies listed by county. Making Kids Count DOES NOT distribute diapers from their office. The diapers are distributed to the partner agencies who then distribute the diapers at their discretion.

QUESTIONS

If you need help, we have a list of frequently asked questions and answers. Please look for the answer to your question here before calling our office. If you still have a question about our diaper bank that has not been answered below, please call our office at (330) 758-3434.

Can I come to the office to pick up diapers?

No, the Making Kids Count Diaper Bank DOES NOT distribute diapers to individuals at our office. The diapers are delivered to our partner locations and the partner locations distribute the diapers.

Do your partner agenices have to give me diapers?

No, we leave full discretion up to the partner agencies as to who recieves diapers and we do not have any say individually who receives diapers.
Please contact the agency prior to going to their offices to make sure that you qualify and to check their office hours. Each agency may have its own set of requirements for qualification in order to receive diapers.

What size/brand of diapers do you distribute?

The Making Kids Count Diaper Bank carries sizes Newborn through Size 6, as well as carrying a very limited amount of pull-ups for boys and girls. Since, MKC holds a number of diaper drives every year, the diaper bank carries many different brands!

Do you accept donations?

Yes, we definitely do! We accept any size, any brand of diapers or any monetary donation toward our ever expanding diaper bank. We will also accept packages of clean, opened diapers, so if your little one has grown out of a size, we will gladly take the remaining diapers from that package!

Are diapers repacked or distributed in original packaging?

The Making Kids Count Diaper Bank Volunteers repack the diapers in quanities of 25 diapers per size with saran wrap and labels. This ensures that more people are able ot receive a pack of diapers and that the diapers are being distributed as more of an “emergency” supply.
If you or your business are interested in helping us repack the diapers, we would appreciate your help as our volunteers wrap 10,000 diapers into 400 packs a month!
